Wheelsets

Available in 10.5mm disc, 10.5mm 10spoke, 11.08mm 9spoke and 11.08mm split spoke, mounted on pinpoint axles.
Wheel tyres are to a profile mid way between NMRA RP25-110 and RP25-88, which we’ve called RP25-99.
Wheelsets are non-magnetic, with pinpoint brass axles and plated, chemically blackened brass tyres.
All wheelsets are insulated for 2 rail operation. Spoked wheels have injection moulded acetal plastic centres with metal tyres. Disc wheels have injection moulded acetal centres or bushes on one side only, with a solid metal wheel on the other.
Delrin pinpoint bearings to match the axle pinpoint are also available. See detail parts listing.
23.8mm axles are for use where it is desirable to minimise the width over axleboxes eg. finescale HO standard gauge models.
25.0mm axles are designed for use with delrin bearings and are used in SEM kits and bogies. This length also suits Lima and Powerline ready to run models.
26.0mm axles are used in many U.S. and British models such as Athearn, Roundhouse, Hornby and Bachman Branchline.
